Our walk will begin at the Cadillac City Park near the Commons. Come early to be ready to start at 11 a.m. We will walk downtown and end at the First Presbyterian Church on Harris street where we will have a short program about sexual abuse prevention. All are welcome. If you are unable to walk, please join us for the program at the church. We welcome Oasis, who will be joining us again this year.
Steward’s of Children Training is offered on Thursdays from 4-6 pm at the center, located at 856 N. Mitchell St. This is an interactive workshop that includes a DVD presentation. You or your organization are invited to learn how we can better protect our children from sexual abuse. Three CEU’s are available by successfully completing this course. It is offered free of charge and is open to all.
Let this be the year you put your abuse behind you with a group of survivors in a confidential setting. You are not alone, recovery is empowering for it restores your self worth and confidence.
We have a Recovery Group meeting every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There are groups for men and women. Groups are confidential and free and facilitated by survivors. Recovery changes your life. It’s never too late to heal. Feel free to use our back entrance. Call 231-846-4495 to register.
