“Step One” Sexual Abuse Recovery Group: Cadillac
This 10-week recovery group for men and women is designed for those beginning their healing journey or who may need a refresher group. The major emphasis will be on defining sexual abuse; why it happened to you; the effect it has had on you; shame; writing & telling your story and beginning to heal. It is important that you can commit to attending every week.

***TEMPORARILY NOT OFFERED*** Boundary issues contribute to a range of contemporary social problems felt by victims, abusers, overachievers, and underachievers alike. Knowing when boundaries are violated and what to do about it isn’t a simple skill. It requires a surprising amount of adjustments. ***TEMPORARILY NOT OFFERED***
Life is a Sport
This group meets during the school year. This group is for any teen, including children who are homeschooled; all are welcome! We meet every Thursday after school from 3:00 to 4:30 at Cadillac Senior High, room 402. Join us for pizza, pop, games, projects, learning about yourself, and building personal strengths. The last Thursday of the month is an outing. All are welcome. This group is not a sexual abuse-related group, but rather a safe space for teens to grow, learn, socialize and have fun!

All are welcome! We meet Wednesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the center located at 856 N. Mitchell St. Each week we will walk among friends through devotion, study guides, and prayer, through the bible.

This is an interactive workshop that includes a DVD presentation. You or your organization are invited to learn how we can better protect our children from sexual abuse. Three CEU’s are available by successfully completing this course. It is offered free of charge and is open to all.
